　　原因状语从句从定义上来看，首先是一个句子，用来说明主句这一结果的句子，在从句中少不了的是从属连词。引导原因状语从句的从属连词主要有because、as、since、for等...下面海天考研给大家举个例子阐述这一些用法。

　　He can get angry easily because some people speak ill of him

　　参考翻译：因为有人说他的坏话，他很容易就生气了。

　　从这句话来看，because后接直接的原因解释他为什么生气，有人说他坏话这一理由很明确，而且语气很 强硬。按位置来说，because引导的从句在主句后，如果位于主句前要用逗号与之隔开;另外注意not because是对because引导的从句的否定。

　　这句经典的句子大家可以参考一下：

　　The country is not strong because it is large。国家强大不是因为国家地域广博(国强不在大。

　　另外在英语中，一个句子中没有两个连词，但汉语习惯说“因为...所以...”，英文中 because和so不能一起出现。Because some people speak ill of him so he can get angry easily。这句话是错误的。

　　He found it increasingly difficult to read, for his eyesight was beginning to fall。

　　参考翻译：他发现他读书越来越困难了，因为他的视力开始下降了。

　　For在这里不同于because，它是并列连词，for引出的原因(视力开始下降)只是 对结果的一个补充性说明，因为导致读书困难的还有其他原因。从位置上来看，for引导的并列句只能放在主句后并且需要用逗号与主句隔开。

　　Since you are ill today, you had better stay at home。

　　参考翻译：既然你今天病了，那你就呆在家里吧。

　　Since引导的原因状语从句通常since译为既然，比较正式的用法，其引导的原因(生病)一般是已知的。

　　As it is raining, you had better take a taxi。既然在下雨，你最好乘出租汽车。As引导原因状语从句与since类似。

　　句子一：Some individuals would therefore not have been caught, since no baited hooks would have been available to trap them, leading to an underestimate of fish stocks in the past。

　　句子主干是Some individuals would therefore not have been caught.therefore作状语放在would和not之间，在写作中不常用，大家可以借鉴。这个主干是被动语态。

　　除开主干，since引导了原 因状语从句，来解释主干为什么有些鱼未被抓到，在从句中，主语是no baited hooks(没有带诱饵的鱼钩)，系动词是been available，表语是to trap them;leading to.。。现在分词做结果状语，导致...

　　参考翻译：有些鱼因此可能逃过一劫，因为那时没有用带诱饵的鱼钩抓它们，这样就低估了过去鱼的储量。

　　句子二：When a new movement in art attains a certain fashion, it is advisable to find out what its advocates are aiming at, for, however farfetched and unreasonable their principles may seem today, it is possible that in years to come they may be regarded as normal

　　.When a new movement in art attains a certain fashion是一个when引导的时间状语从句，从句中a new movement是主语，attains是谓语，a certain fashion是宾语;it is advisable to find out+宾语从句，it做形式主语，真正的主语是不定式，what引导的宾语从句中，主语是its advocates，谓语是are aiming at，what做宾语成分;

　　for it is possible that in years to come they may be regarded as normal这是for引导的原因状语从句，这个从句是个形式主语从句，it做形式主语，真正的主语是that后边的内容;

　　however farfetched and unreasonable their principles may seem today这是让步状语从句。难点在于在for和其引导的从句间插入了让步状语从句。
